Join the Program:

If you're interested in any level of the 3Com|ON™ program, the first step is to join the Open Network at no cost! Once you're an Open Network Member, you can apply for higher membership levels by logging into the Open Network and selecting "Join Program" from the top navigation bar.

Joining the 3Com|ON™ Program at the premium or optimum level gives you the resources you need to begin interoperating with 3Com® based solutions and services, to meet your customers' needs. When you join, you gain access to a comprehensive set of technology and business resources that support the 3Com products and services and that will enable your business to be competitive in today's market.

At the Premium and Optimum Member levels, we invite everyone to apply. We are dedicated to providing quality solutions for our customers and resellers therefore, we administer a qualification process to ensure that the solution you offer is a good fit. Once the qualification process is successfully completed, you are invited into the program.

Premium and Optimum Members will need to commit to and maintain a prosperous business relationship with 3Com and are recognized and rewarded for that commitment. The following is a snapshot of the basic annual requirements:

Consultants and System Integrators

The 3Com|ON™ Consultant Relations Program (CRP) is a FREE resource designed to meet the unique requirements of consultants worldwide that develop and design networks and recommend networking technologies for their clients. From the independent consultant to the larger Systems Integrator and IT consulting firm, the 3Com|ON CRP provides the highest level of expertise to assist you and your clients in meeting the challenging needs of today's demanding communication environments.

Defining a True Consultant: As a criterion for membership into the 3Com|ON™ CRP, it is
important for us to articulate our definition of Consultant:

3Com defines a consultant as an independent person or company whose primary business is in evaluating and recommending solutions and technologies, such as secure converged networks, for their clients.

A consultant’s size can span the gamut of a small/focused shop to a large system integration house. They are not an end-user (customer) and are independent in that they have no contractual affiliation with a manufacturer (including 3Com).
